Terry Gilliam produced numerous animations for the Monty Python series, I have attached the opening sequences from all four series. This style of animation was ground breaking and has been mimicked many times. This could be an abstract approach to creating a series of ads.
Gilliam went on to help write and produce all four Monty Python films as well as directing "Brazil", "Twelve Monkeys" and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vega".
